Publication of the Sustainability Charter and signing of the Human Rights Declaration

In addition to signing the UEFA Human Rights Declaration, which sends out a strong signal for equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion in sport, the eight host cities have committed to concrete measures in the areas of environment, society and economy/management in a jointly developed Sustainability Charter. Among other things, these promote sustainable transport, social equality and the advancement of girls and women in sport, as well as supporting the careful use of resources. The joint charter is based on the sustainability goals of the United Nations (UN). Host City Bern also bases its specific measures on the city's guidelines.
