The UEFA Women's EURO 2025 was the largest women's sporting event in Europe and was held in Switzerland. The federal city of Bern was one of the eight host cities. Throughout the tournament, the Bundesplatz was transformed into a Fan Zone with a summer football festival atmosphere.
The Fan Zone was open daily from 1 to 27 July 2025, from 2.30 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. The Bundesplatz was open to the public free of charge. A varied supporting programme – with a large public viewing screen and live broadcasts of all matches, a football village, bars, a stage and various activities organised by sponsors – ensured a football, summer and festival atmosphere.
The Waterfountaine was also integrated into the Fan Zone. The eye-catcher was Switzerland's largest Ferris wheel, which was set up on the Bundesplatz for this event only and offered an unforgettable view over the Federal Palace to the Gurten, the Aare Valley and the Alps.
In the middle of this unique Fan Zone, directly in front of the Ferris wheel, an exclusive hospitality lounge with a rooftop for 20 to 30 people was created. The lounge was equipped with TV screens, a flipchart and matching furniture, offering the opportunity to hold a workshop, a meeting or even a customer event in a unique atmosphere. The appropriate catering in the form of an aperitif or beer and bratwurst was prepared for the guests. Refreshing drinks were also provided thanks to the exclusive bar.
The view from the roof terrace guaranteed an un obstructed view of the stage and the large LED screen. Guests also benefited from a match ticket for a WEURO game at the Wankdorf Stadium.
