On the first match day in Bern, on 3 July 2025, the long-awaited Iberian duel between the world champions from Spain and their neighbours from Portugal took place at 9 p.m. at the Wankdorf Stadium. They had only met once before in a European Championship final, and this time too, the Spanish women dominated, winning 5-0.
On 11 July 2025, Spain faced Italy again at the Wankdorf Stadium at 9 p.m. – another European Championship thriller in which the Spanish women prevailed 3-1 and once again proved their class.

On 6 July 2025, the Icelandic women took on Switzerland at 9 p.m. at the Wankdorf Stadium. Switzerland had played Iceland once before in a European Championship final tournament, winning that match 2-1. This time, Switzerland came out on top again with a 2-0 victory that eliminated Iceland from the tournament. Geraldine Reuteler scored the opening goal in the 76th minute, and Alayah Pilgrim secured the final score with a deflected shot instoppage time.
