Wankdorf Stadium

As one of the central venues for UEFA Women's EURO 2025, the Wankdorf Stadium provided a fascinating backdrop for some of the greatest moments in football. The Wankdorf football stadium, home to BSC Young Boys, hosted four matches of the WEURO25.

Since its opening, the Wankdorf Stadium has hosted many legendary matches. The current stadium was opened in 2005 and can accommodate 31,500 spectators for football matches. However, the Wankdorf is not just a stadium, but also a place of community. Thanks to its state-of-the-art infrastructure and wide range of gastronomic options, it is the perfect place to enjoy sports and culture at the highest level and to celebrate in a relaxed atmosphere. The Wankdorf Stadium is not only the venue for the matches of the first men's, women's and youth teams of BSC Young Boys, but also regularly hosts attractive major concerts.

The Wankdorf Stadium was accessible to people with physical disabilities.

All Women's EURO 2025 matches were accompanied by audio description with commentary in there spective national language. Audio description in German was also available. It was accessible via the UEFA event app, which was released shortly before the event. With a smartphone and headphones, the service could be used – provided there was an internet connection – not only by spectators in the stadium, but basically any where in the world. 

Barrier-freeparking spaces were available at the Wankdorf Stadium and could be requested when purchasing tickets. In addition, there was a dedicated team of accessibility volunteers who provided any assistance required, including a wheelchair push service for people with reduced mobility. This service was free of charge and the volunteers could be approached directly. Shortly before the event, the UEFA event guide also provided a special page on accessibility, which contained all the important information on how to get to the stadium and how to find your way around.
