The Corner Waisenhausplatz was at the heart of Berner Ballzauber and was open from 1 to 27 July 2025.
The Corner Waisenhausplatz focused on artistic, social and playful elements. The highlight was the cube with the short immersive film show ‘UNSTOPPABLE’ about the eventful history and possible future of women's football – visitors wer einvited to immerse themselves and enjoy the experience.
A mobile football pitch was available for young and old, and various events also took place. Visitors could use the event calendar to make sure they didn't miss athing.
The Corner Waisenhausplatz was rounded off by a sports bar lounge offering drinks and fine delicacies. Those who wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the Fan Zone on Bundesplatz could also watch the UEFA Women's EURO 2025 matches here.

🔥 UNSTOPPABLE – The unique film show about the eventful history of women's football.
From 1 July 2025, visitors to the multimedia cube at Corner Waisenhausplatz were able to marvel at the immersive film show ‘UNSTOPPABLE’. Visitors experienced an inspiring journey through the history, present and possible future of women's football. Great battles. Even bigger dreams. And a message that remains: women's football is unstoppable.

Mobile football pitch
At Corner Waisenhausplatz, visitors could not only watch football, but also play.
The mobile football pitch – a green playing area in the middle of the city of Bern – was open to all visitors.
On the mobile football pitch, guests could compete with friends, play spontaneously or take part in organised activities.
Whether beginners, streetfootball pros or casual kickers – everyone was welcome!
Sports bar
In the sportsbar lounge on the corner of Waisenhausplatz, visitors could watch all the European Championship matches live and up close.
The lounge offered numerous screens showing all the European Championship matches. Visitors were able to enjoy a varied selection of foodand drinks, lovingly prepared by a local restaurateur. The lounge was the perfect meeting place for exciting moments of play, fine snacks and refreshing drinks – right in the heart of Bern.
