Looking back, looking out, looking ahead
Half-time in the Host City Bern - time for an interim summary with a view! Our co-overall project managers Marc Heeb and Hannah Sutter sat down in the Ferris wheel and looked back on two intense weeks of European Championship excitement.
‘The atmosphere in Bern is fantastic,’ says Heeb. ‘We're getting a lot of encouragement from the public, which is great.’ His personal highlight? Definitely the Ferris wheel. For Sutter, it was the Chlyklass concert: ‘It was pure goosebumps!’
Berne might be happy
The market remains challenging: ‘We have to set up and dismantle large parts of the infrastructure twice a week,’ says Sutter. Nevertheless, everything is running smoothly. And what's next?
Heeb gives a hint:
‘We are currently working on a surprise for the population.’
