Restricted access to Bundesplatz
Due to the large crowds expected in the city centre, the Bundesplatz in Bern is likely to be temporarily closed to the public on Friday, 18 July 2025. Access will be granted via one entrance at Schauplatzgasse and one at Bärenplatz. Interested parties are asked to allow sufficient time for admission checks and to arrive early.
Free night in honour of the Swiss women's national team
Regardless of the result of the match between Spain and Switzerland, the city of Bern has declared the night of 18 to 19 July a free night for restaurants, clubs and bars. Bern is thus paying tribute to the Swiss team for their historic achievement at the UEFA Women's EURO 2025.
