Ahead of the Swiss women's national team's match in Bern, the WATER for WATER (WfW) Clean-Up Day took place today. Together with numerous participants – including Noa Schärz, midfielder for YB Women and newly crowned Swiss champion, and Fabian Lustenberger, former YB captain and WfW Enabling Mind – cigarette butts were collected along Bundesgasse and as far as Marzili to draw attention to the often underestimated environmental impact of littering.
At the start of the activities at 2.30 p.m., Noa Schärz and Fabian Lustenberger spoke on stage in the Fan Zone on Bundesplatz about the UEFA Women's EURO and their commitment to water as a resource.
